About Rami Cassis

One of Parabellum Investments’ portfolio companies is advanco, where he holds the position of Chairman. During his tenure as Chairman, he has worked closely with advanco CEO Alf Goebel to significantly grow the company into the globe’s largest independent provider of serialization solutions to the pharmaceutical sector.

Rami has a long pedigree of leading companies ranging from large, multinational corporates to lower mid-market firms. He has led several international complex transactions, always acting as the principal. Although he will sometimes step in as interim CEO, he usually acts as Executive Chairman. He has a substantial track record in growing companies ranging in size from $5m to $350m in revenue, leading transactions including reverse takeovers, IPO’s, and take-privates. He has also managed the integration of numerous companies via M&A.

Rami began his working life with Schlumberger, holding senior positions including Director of Engineering Operations, Middle East & Asia Pacific, and General Manager, West & Central Africa, along with senior line management roles. He then had a brief consulting career, originally with KPMG before returning to line management with Atos, where he was Managing Director of BPO/ITO for the firm in the UK. He shares this valuable, first-hand knowledge and experience with all the portfolio companies which are owned by Parabellum Investments, where these insights have proved valuable to the management teams of each company.

He holds degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Pure and Applied Mathematics, both gained at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, where he was also awarded the university medal for the best undergraduate engineering thesis.
